Personally, I use lighty because it is small and (I think) secure. Why 
would I care about http daemon security, if I was to run PHP anyway? :)

Apart from that, this is not the point of my bug report. Either lighty 
should depend on the right php package, or the default configuration files
should work without php installed. 

Basically, I was trying to write a small howto for somebody who wants to 
run trac on a small virtual server. Most steps are a simple shell command, 
the most "complicated" part being the step to edit the fastcgi config
file.

Your mileage may vary.
