Package: lighttpd
Version: 1.4.19-5+lenny1
Severity: important

On my system, lighttpd runs under a non-standard user,
called www-data2. The postinst script sets the ownership
of several directories to www-data:www-data on every
update. After this, lighttpd fails to restart,
because of a permission error.

Suggested solution:

The postinst script should get
the values of server.username and server.groupname from
lighthttpd.conf and set the permissions according
to them.
