Package: lirc
Version: 0.9.0~pre1-1
Severity: normal
This package fails to build from source twice in a row, because the
new dpkg-dev by default doesn't allow direct changes in the source
when the quilt source format is used. Output from the end of the
second build:
dpkg-source -i -I -b lirc-0.9.0~pre1
dpkg-source: info: using options from lirc-0.9.0~pre1/debian/source/options: --compression=bzip2 --compression-level=9
dpkg-source: info: using source format `3.0 (quilt)'
dpkg-source: info: building lirc using existing ./lirc_0.9.0~pre1.orig.tar.bz2
dpkg-source: warning: ignoring deletion of file daemons/input_map.inc
dpkg-source: info: local changes detected, the modified files are:
lirc-0.9.0~pre1/Makefile.in
lirc-0.9.0~pre1/config.guess
lirc-0.9.0~pre1/config.sub
dpkg-source: error: aborting due to unexpected upstream changes, see /tmp/lirc_0.9.0~pre1-1.diff.ECMxGL
dpkg-source: info: you can integrate the local changes with dpkg-source --commit
dpkg-buildpackage: error: dpkg-source -i -I -b lirc-0.9.0~pre1 gave error exit status 2
