[Pkg-ltsp-devel] lp_server copyright and debian/copyright

it was brought to my attention that our debian/copyright file is a
little shoddy.

after looking into it, i question weather we could even include
lp_server at all. it has numerous files which include copyright notices
without specifying the terms of those copyright notices. the LICENSE
file refers to the "GNU COPYING license", not the GPL, which according
to vorlon, would require clarification from upstream.

i think we should remove lp_server from the debian packages until
clarification can be gotten from upstream (Patrick Powell
<papowell at sdsu.edu> for lp_server), and then take that opportunity to
make lp_server a separate package. i'd prefer to have it a separate
package, anyways. on top of that, we don't even use lp_server in our
code yet (though i think ubuntu has some patches for that).

thoughts?

there's also some ambiguity with some of the ltsp upstream stuff- i'll
talk with jim about that tomorrow.

live well,
