yes, this is already reported as: http://bugs.debian.org/410661

sorry we have no uploaded a fixed package sooner.

quite possibly. please document further incompatibilities at:

http://wiki.debian.org/LTSP/Upgrading_4.2

we will include them in the package documentation in future uploads.

it seems to me a separate issue from this bug report, please file a
separate bug report if you feel it's needed.

does it work properly without manual intervention if you make the
changes noted in:

http://bugs.debian.org/416673

noted on the Upgrading_4.2 wiki page.

it's been a while since i've personally tested ltspfs, that's all i can
remember.

sorry for the totally useless information, then :P

i think lsof is needed in either case. testing if this works with the
changes reported in #416673 would be useful, yes, please do so (both for
CDROM and floppy).

thanks for trying this out. the shift from ltsp 4.2 to ltsp5 involved
some major design changes, and still needs some bugs shaken out.

live well,
