Please replace ltsp-client's dependency on it by a dependency on freerdp2-x11. When switching to the new FreeRDP2 version, make sure you use the new command line syntax for the xfreerdp command. Please provide an upload within the next weeks. In four weeks from now (sort of), I will raise severity of this bug report. It sounds like you've got a better working NFS setup than I managed to get working... In /usr/share/doc/ltsp-server/NEWS.Debian: LTSP defaults to using NBD in both ltsp-build-client and in ltsp-client-core, due to incompatibilities using overlay fs from linux 4.x with NFS as a backend. Another person reported similar issues: https://sourceforge.net/p/ltsp/mailman/message/36038589/ https://bugs.debian.org/875821 It may be possible to switch to aufs by using the aufs-dkms package, as aufs is what was used before stretch. Another option would be fixing the way LTSP mounts using "overlay" fs, as NFS + overlay fs is used by FAI apparently without issue. FAI uses dracut instead of initramfs-tools, so that could be a path of further investigation. live well, vagrant From vagrant at debian.org Wed Mar 28 16:34:34 2018 From: vagrant at debian.org (Vagrant Cascadian) Date: Wed, 28 Mar 2018 09:34:34 -0700 Subject: [Pkg-ltsp-devel] Bug#888583: ltsp: ltsp-client-builder should use console-setup-udeb instead of kbd-chooser In-Reply-To: <20180327151530.hkvjergeftk6ny6x@layer-acht.org> References: <20180127125038.GA3209@star> <20180327151530.hkvjergeftk6ny6x@layer-acht.org> <20180127125038.GA3209@star> Message-ID: <87d0zo88h1.fsf@aikidev.net> On 2018-03-27, Holger Levsen wrote: > ping on this bug. Honestly, LTSP development and maintenance in general could really use some extra hands. I don't currently maintain any real-world deployments of LTSP, so help from someone who actually does would be very appreciated. live well, vagrant -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
