I guess you might even want to move to 0.4.5-pre*, as it provides a far
better infrastructure to build upon.

RHEL4U2 will package that branch too.

Note you need the UEVENTS kernel config option set for the daemon to
operate properly in this branch. If you lack that, like RedHat do, I'll
merge their helper to plug into /sbin/hotplug and provide you more
details.
