Package: multipath-tools
Version: 0.4.8-14+lenny2
Severity: normal

Hi,

Continuing the discussion in #580972, the form of uevents emitted by newer
kernels (at least 2.6.32, possibly older ones as well) has changed and is
incompatible with lenny's multipathd. This was fixed upstream, in a backwards
compatible way, with commit 7fa7affc3d23dd9dc906804d22a61144bca9f9b9. This
commit is already present in sid/squeeze and can also be applied against
lenny's version. It would be great if you could backport it, so that lenny's
version can work with newer kernels as well.

Thank you,
Apollon
