Dear Developers,

first, please excuse my probably bad English (I'm German).
I write to you because I think I found a bug in pcmanfm-qt.
My system:
"Linux 4.9.0-4-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 4.9.51-1 (2017-09-28) x86_64
GNU/Linux"
I always use the 64x64 thumbnail view, but in the "Documents"-folder of
my
home directory, I've got some folders in which I prefer the detailed
list view.
So I switch to it and tell pcmanfm-qt to serve the settings for these
folders. Then I
close the file manager.
But now, I can't access these folders. Whenever I try to open one of
them,
pcmanfm-qt crashes with segmentation fault. The only way, I can open
them
correctly is with a middle-click in a new tab.
So I tried to solve the problem by installing the gtk-pcmanfm. But with
it, I even
can't get access to the mentioned folders when I open them in a new tab.

Finally, I found the trick: It's the file
$HOME/.config/libfm/dir-settings.conf.
In the line "ViewMode=", pcmanfm-qt has written "detailed" as ViewMode.
But
when I use the gtk-pcmanfm and select the detailed list view, it writes
"list" as
ViewMode. And then, everything is fine when I use the gtk-pcmanfm.
Unfortunately, pcmanfm-qt don't recognize the ViewMode "list". Instead,
it
opens these folders in the default view mode.

By the way, can you make pcmanfm-qt use the colored light- and
darker-grey
lines in the detailed list view that the gtk-pcmanfm use?

Thank you for the Development of LXQt.

Kind regards,

Robert
