Most probably it's about the fact that not everyone linking against qt is
required to use pkg-config and so they changed it.

I've now reverted it and it actually builds fine.
Now we only need to get working again. I've uploaded a VirtualBox diskimage
for Andre' so that he can reproduce it. Maybe that will help it a bit.
