Thanks but in this case the sad thing is that I've already prepared a patch
looking exactly like this. It's already in the svn repo and it's noted in the
corresponding bugreport #530469.

I really appreciate people helping out but please consult the BTS. It's an
essential tool.
For LyX there's also a wiki page http://wiki.debian.org/PkgLyx holding some
broader information about what's going on and what needs fixes.

If you're interested in the LyX Debian package you should also consider
to subscribe yourself to the pkg-lyx-devel mailinglist.
