I tried this (and also tried the same with just wme_enabled=0), but the 
results are the same.

For the record, my hardware is:
wifi0: Atheros AR5213A chip found (MAC 5.9, PHY 2112 4.3, Radio 4.6)
(PCI ID 168c:0013)
