Package: madwifi-source
Version: 1:0.9.4+r3772.20080716-1
Followup-For: Bug #491731

Hi,

I'm aware of the proposal to remove madwifi (here:)
http://lists.alioth.debian.org/pipermail/pkg-madwifi-maintainers/2008-September/001181.html
but it seems the recently published HAL fixes the "stuck beacon" issue
reported in this bug.
see here:
http://madwifi.org/wiki/news/20080829/new-hal-release-for-atheros-hardware

So, I would very much appreciate a 'final' (?) update.

Thx

Gijs
