 Well, could not yet check the archived bugreports yet, so sorry if it's
already discussed.  What about a debconf question on --purge? I know it's
a policy that Debian should ask as less from the user as possible, but some
user may have bigger lists, and later decide to remove mailman, only to
realise that the archives are still lying around and taking space. Maybe a
note would be enough that the archives are not deleted, but can be found in
the given directory for hand deletion if required.
