Thank. The sentence "people (...) patches (...) particularly invited"
was aimed at you, actually.

Just a note on patches adding new features rather than fixing bugs:
Please do not add them unless you are willing to personally commit to
making the effort of dragging them forward for a long time, even if
upstream rejects them.
