Package: mailman
Version: 2.1.4-1
Severity: wishlist

you may wish to ease the upgrade for people upgrading from
old /etc/aliases, by providing a script and/or a debconf warning

I have noted that the following substitutions should be done (at least)

/var/lib/mailman/mail/wrapper -> /var/lib/mailman/mail/mailman
mailcmd -> request
mailowner -> admin

if you wish, I may prepare such a script

 - /etc/aliases changes needed: we now have a debconf note and
   (limited) compatibility symlinks present. No old-to-new wrapper
   script, though.

 - Creating mailman list: No automatic creation (who should be the
   owner?), but we now warn through debconf note.
