Bug#737013: mate-desktop: Fails to start

Dear Maintainer,

After installing the package it is not possible to start the desktop. There is
no .desktop
file in /usr/share/xsessions/ so desktop managers cannot find the desktop.
I've tried to create a .desktop file, but I cannot find a binary to start the
desktop.
