Thanks for raising concern.

I am aware that matrix-mirage is far from a firehose of changes, and 
also that it is not perfect.  I am not aware that it is unmaintained, 
though.  Are you aware of any other indicators for that than simply the 
timestamp of newest upstream git commit?

Nice that someone has invested time in a fork of matrix-mirage.  Looking 
closely at it, most of the changes are so far tied to the very forking 
process, however - I don't see any substantial improvements.

I suggest to file an RFP bugreport and post news about upstream progress 
to that other bugreport, to encourage me and others to have a renewed 
look at its packaging for Debian.

Unless I receive substantial information that matrix-mirage should be 
dropped from Debian, I will close this bugreport.
