I followed the steps given by the debian bug report and cannot reproduce
it with version 4.7.0.9-2, so I am closing thus bug. If you still/again
have these problems, please open a new bug report with the newest/recent
details.

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: mc

  mc will stall/hang after downloading a series of files (or single
  large file).

  This behaviour has been repreated numerous times.

  I am running Ubuntu 8.04 and have DL speeds between 5KB/s to 500KB/s.

  The cursor continues to beat (pulse) but the screen is fixed showing
  100% download.

  Examination reveals the file has fully downloaded but it is irritating
  having to collapse the terminal window and restart mc in order to
  continue DLing from a site.
