Hm, looks weird.

Could you please run the following three commands and paste the
output into an email?

  sed -i -e 's,set -eu,&x,' /var/lib/dpkg/info/mdadm.postinst
  sed -i -e 's,set -eu,&x,' /var/lib/dpkg/info/mdadm.config
  dpkg --configure -a mdadm
