Well, the question seems to me: why does the documentation in UPGRADE.gz (which I assume is tested) tell me to put LocalSettings.php in /var/lib/mediawiki1.5 if upgrade.php does not look there but in /usr/share/mediawiki1.5?

- is UPGRADE.gz wrong?
- is upgrade.php wrong?
- or should there be a LocalSettings.php in /usr/share/mediawiki1.5?

That's what I would like to get resolved first.
