all have the same problem: jit dies, on 2.4 kernel

I had a notebook that had exactly this NullReference jit crash with
monodevelop. I couldn't find out what is causing the problem, but we
booted a 2.6 kernel, worked fine... with 2.4 + mint monodevelop started
but crashed later when compiled a glade# project (I think because
monodevelop is using hardcoded mono jit).

so there is definitely a problem with i386 + jit + 2.4 kernel +
monodevelop

we had this problem already back with old mono versions (0.31 I think)
it used SIGALTSTACK, since then we disable it, it worked till beta3 or
so...
