[Pkg-mono-devel] [OT?] Using autotools to compile CLI apps

Hi all,
I'm asking here as I really don't know where to get information from (probably
from some Mono official ML, I'm going to look over it). Please forgive me if
this is the worst place I could ask in :) (-- or otherwise remove [OT?] from
the Subject :p)

I've got a CLI app (gnome-rdp), for which I am the maintainer, and now am also
one of the upstream developers.

Somewhen in the past, someone wrote the autotools files to use ./configure and
the like to compile this application (it's written in Mono C#). Now we're
"restructuring" the project (i.e. switching from CVS to SVN, improving the
code, ...), but the guy who wrote those scripts isn't in the team anymore.

After some googling, I couldn't find anything about using autotools with C#
(just an "introductory" page on mono-project.com [1]). Also `autoscan` didn't
help much, as it seems it can't recognize the source code (damn C/C++
developers! ;) ).

Does anyone have the slightest idea on how to make this work? Any "tutorial"? :)

Any help would be really welcome.

Kindly,
David
