You've tried to install Wheezy's (Debian 7) MonoDevelop on Squeeze
(Debian 6). To install packages you should really be using apt-get which
will install your release's version. "apt-get install monodevelop"
installs MonoDevelop 2.4 on Debian 6

Your numbering is slightly off - .NET 3.0 and .NET 3.5 are add-ons
for .NET 2.0, and are supported fine in Debian 6 - however MonoDevelop
2.6+ needs .NET 4.0, which needs Debian 7 (Mono 2.8+)

If you *need* .NET 4.0 support (i.e. the latest MonoDevelop) then
upgrading to the yet-to-be-released Debian 7 is probably the easiest
route.
