As I wrote in the other mail a few minutes ago to pkg-mozext, this
happens automatically now based on targetApplication in install.rdf if
you are using xpi.mk from mozilla-devscripts.

Only difference is that we use /usr/lib/ as we only create links there
to the real extension place (e.g. /usr/lib,share/extension-name) and
so whether its share or lib shouldn't matter much in our
opinion. Works quite well here. I havent checked if
toolkit at mozilla.org appid for toolkit/xulrunner extensions is also
supported. If not thats an upstream thing though.
