Starting with Thundebird/Iceweasel 3, the compact header view (an
abbreviated way of seeing headers of messages) was removed from the main
distribution of the mail reader and, instead, relegated to an extension.

This package provides the extension that is a development of the code
that was removed from Thunderbird/Iceweasel. In particular, it makes an
economical use of vertical space in a user's monitor and makes it
convenient to use a computer screen like those increasingly present in
netbooks and other mobile computers.
