That won't resolve the problem. You will get a version that will works
with Icedove 8 or Iceweasel 9 but no one for both.

The last upstream source version is 0.3.1. Since thant there aren't any
changes. All other versions are only rebuilds[1].

We *can't* use the xpi for experimental also. It contains non-free icons
and precompiled shared libs. We need to build it from the Upstream Source!

The possible reason for the firetray compatibility problem between the
icedove/iceweasel version should be a build against xulrunner-dev x.x
and icedove-dev(3.1.16) so we get a lib for both. The icedove package
brings an own "xulrunner-dev" with it. But for this there is some work
to do. I will do this asap.
