Hi.

This does not yet addresses pabs questions regarding interaction with
perspectives, but I prepared an upload of the stable branch of
https-everywhere and I uploaded it to my PPA at launchpad.net:

      dget https://launchpad.net/~rbrito/+archive/ppa/+files/https-everywhere_1.0.2-1.dsc

Why not mentors, you ask? Well, I tried, but it refused my upload (not
sure if that was a transient problem or not). Anyway, comments are
welcome and the package is, I think, as ready as the previous version
for upload.

P.S.: In that PPA of mine you may also see other extensions that I am
using, fiddling with. My current target is "firefox's sibling" of
youtube-dl (another package that I maintain), but which is easier for
users to use (e.g., my parents). You may see my packaging at:
