Hi Andrea,

Deng Google Bookmarks seems dead upstream [1], and no new version has
been published in almost two years (the version distributed on
addons.mozilla.org [2] is even older than the one in Debian).

1: http://web.archive.org/web/20121010034400/http://balandro.net/dengGB/
2: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/deng-google-bookmarks/

Given the difficulties to handle addons compatibility with the Mozilla
products, even inside a stable release, I wonder if keeping it in the
archive is worth the trouble. Furthermore, the service provider seems to
make incompatible changes sometimes [3] adding more concerns in the loop.

3: https://support.mozilla.org/questions/962923

Would anyone disagree if we ask for its removal from unstable?

An alternative would be to package another equivalent upstream instead
to keep up, but not being myself an user of gogole services, I won’t
volunteer to do any work in that direction. Even so, the worry about
browser and service provider compatibilities would still stand…

Regards

David
