Well, we are not speaking about 95 % compatibility, either.
I would rather say that the compatibility (on YouTube) seems to be less
than 10 %: the vast majority of the YouTube videos I tried to watch
are completely unavailable with this extension enabled (while they can
be watched without xul-ext-video-without-flash, by using
browser-plugin-gnash).

Done, but I failed to find any useful tips, unfortunately.

Disabling the HTML5 module seems to make things worse...
I failed to find other settings that may help to improve the situation.

Version 1.5.1 seems to fix the issue with partially shown videos:
images are no longer shifted down and the controls are visible (so that
I can adjust the volume!).
Hence, the new version is a significant improvement, but does _not_ fix
the issue with "undefined undefined" videos.

Is it included in Debian?

Could you please forward my bug report upstream?
I don't have a github account and I cannot register an account on the
issue tracker for each and every piece of software I use...
