Can you please try the 1.0.0~beta9.2+dfsg-1 version of
xul-ext-requestpolicy as currently available from experimental and
report back if it fixes the issue? Even if still in beta stage, we
should upload it to unstable providing it actually fixes the
compatibility issue.

When reporting an incompatibility between packages, it could be a good
idea to report the bug against both packages
(iceweasel,xul-ext-requestpolicy), you can even use the appropriate
version of each packages (”Version: iceweasel/38.0.1-1” and “Version
xul-ext-requestpolicy/0.5.28-1”).

Mike, as pointed in the second bullet of bug housekeeping [1], please CC
<packagename at packages.debian.org> with the context when you rassign.
