Thanks, I could verify this since the latest thunderbird package is still
installable in testing! I see the renaming from "Mozilla Thunderbird" to
just "Thunderbird". However, I don't see any of the names suggested by
Gervase in 2004: "one of "Thunderbird for Debian" or "Debian
Did Gervase's 2005 proposal made just "Thunderbird" possible? I can see
"1) The Foundation grants Debian, and all redistributors of the official
Debian packages of the Foundation's products, the right to label those
packages with a name containing the trademark. "
which does say "a name containing the trademark", without specifying that
name, but not "any name containing the trademark". Did that mean that just
Thunderbird became OK?
I suppose Alexander can comment on this.
