The turned off JEMALLOC seems to cause problems

Hi,

In the meanwhile, this doesn't seem to help anymore either for Nick.
AFAIK he now has that problem independently of MOZILLA_NO_JEMALLOC. (Not
sure about other users yet, though.)

But in the meanwhile we have a third user with this problem -- not on
Debian but on ArchLinux. (Cc to him.) So it seems no Debian-specific
problem anymore.

The interesting fact is that it only happens to him with 2.6.28.7 (but
then only on about 80% of the Conkeror starts), but not with 2.6.28.6
(he wasn't sure about the exact former kernel version) or any other
earlier kernel he used before. A reboot into the old kernel fixed the
problem for him...

Even though this sounds quite unusual and I can't reproduce this with
the recent 2.6.28 from Debian unstable on my EeePC, I think we should
sleuth this hint -- since it's the only one we currently have.

So my question to David and Nick is: Did you do any kernel upgrades
around the time the problems started and if so, which were the new and
old kernel version?

P.S.: In case we don't come any further, IMHO we (preferable Nick :-)
should write a mail to the conkeror ML to ask if anyone else has that
problem.

		Regards, Axel
