Looks like the problem is at all pages visited so far (including
mailing list archives, like http://lists.debian.org/cdwrite/2010/04/

Do you have links of sites that do customize/not customize the colors?
What about
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?package=iceweasel 

does that page customize the colors? iceweasel-3.5.9-2 installed on
another computer does not show this problem.
