That might very well be linked to the sqlite corruption mentioned here:
http://lists.debian.org/debian-release/2010/08/msg00866.html

I'm not entirely sure this is related to your tab issue, though. Can you
try to clear the error console before reproducing the issue?

You may also want to try to downgrade libsqlite3-0 with a version < 3.7
