Icedove from mozilla.debian.net and enigmail

Dear Debian Mozilla team,

first of all, thanks for your great work - you enable me to have a stable
system base and still experience the latest fads on the web. I would not be
able to run a Squeeze desktop if it weren't for you, and I'm very thankful to
have that opportunity.

I'm also using the icedove release channel packages (at 5.0 as of today) from
your fine addon repo, but I've been having problems getting enigmail (from
either squeeze proper or backports) to work with your release; the add-on
always disables itself. It's a crucial component for my day to day mailing
activities, and therefor, icedove is demoted to my main mail viewer only these
days (I have to use something else for sending). Are you aware of the problem,
and if so, do you intend to fix it some way down the road? If not, what could
I do to be of assistance in that regard? I believe enigmail is one of the most
popular and important addons for icedove, and it's a crucial component in the
Mozilla messaging stack.

I'd also be interested in tracking the progress of your highly appreciated
porting efforts. I was very pleased to have iceweasel 8.0 appear almost
instantly after the upstream release, but if there's a means of having a look
at your release queue to be prepared for what's about to hit the repo during
the next few days would be quite awesome.

Thanks a lot for your time and efforts!
