I tried to reproduce the bug on a diffent Debian System. An
out-of-the-box mozilla.debian.net package has actually the right WM_CLASS.

The problem was triggered when I installed the French language pack from
ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/7.0.1/linux-x86_64/xpi/
it is then that the WM_CLASS changes from "Iceweasel" to "Firefox"

I guess this language packs re -brands somehow Iceweasel to Firefox,
which may explain the WM_CLASS change.
