Bug#641235: iceweasel: strange error message if a lock symlink exists

When I wanted to start Iceweasel, I got the following error:

No protocol specified
No protocol specified
No protocol specified
Error: cannot open display: :0

while other X applications could be run without any problem.

I've attached the strace output. The cause of the problem could be:

9413  access("/var/run/gdm3/auth-for-vinc17-6QI4SL/database", R_OK) = -1 ENOENT (No such file or directory)

while $XAUTHORITY is: /var/run/gdm3/auth-for-vinc17-90tudO/database

There was a symlink lock -> 127.0.1.1:+19005 in the profile directory
(the machine had frozen and I had to reboot). Removing it solved the
problem. It took me some time to find this was the cause...
