I'm cloning Taylor's issue into a separate bug report.  Although
similar, it seems unlikely it could be the same issue as #670586 which
was only recently introduced in 3.5.16-14.

I'm quite certain the #670586 bug was fixed in 3.5.16-15;  closing that.
