Bug#873315: firefox-esr print out of .pdf has wrong characters

Dear Maintainer,

I have just printed out following file
https://www.onvista-
bank.de/files/dokumente/formulare/formularcenter/020.1-5EUR-festpreis-preis-
leistungsverzeichnis.pdf

and on page 2 „Zert kate“ (is printed with a weird character between t k, see
attachment) instead of printing out „Zertifikate“

What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)?
1.) start firefox-esr -safe-mode (52.3.0)
2.) open https://www.onvista-
bank.de/files/dokumente/formulare/formularcenter/020.1-5EUR-festpreis-preis-
leistungsverzeichnis.pdf
3.) open print dialoge
4.) print page 2
  4.1) via .ps file
  4.2) via .pdf file
  4.3) via Brother-Printer and CUPS

What was the outcome of this action?
5.) every second or third trial, „Zert kate“ is printed with a weird character
between t k, see attachment

What outcome did you expect instead?
6.) every time „Zertifikate“ should be printed correctly

Environment:
Debian stretch on a Thinkpad Laptop
firefox-esr/stable,now 52.3.0esr-1~deb9u1 amd64
firefox-esr-l10n-de/stable,stable,now 52.3.0esr-1~deb9u1 all
