Well I don't use/know JACK but the issue looks like a problem of membership for
"mpd" user, which is, imho, an issue on the administration side but not on the
package itself.

Some instructions on how to run MPD with JACK could be added in
/usr/share/doc/mpd/README.Debian though.

I think then the bug should be closed.
