 We could use one if dates or revisions in the Debian version and decide
 on that.  Ultimately, I think ffmpeg should report it's Debian
 version, not the SVN checkout version, as we're applying patches
 possibly coming from SVN on top of our snapshot tarball anyway.

 If we really need to support both dates and revisions in our svn
 versions, then let us decide of a strict format which indicates which
 type is used:
    +svn.r1234 for revisions
    +svn.2008-08-12 for dates
 (we could keep one of +svn.1234 or +svn.20080812, but this is risky)
