@Benjamin, for the next upload I'd like to wait for the new ffmpeg 
packages to hit unstable, which is most probably after the relase of 
Lenny. We can then build audacity against ffmpeg and close #512278 and 
maybe even #329802 (if we raise the build-depends on 
libav{codec,format} at ffmpeg versions with speex support enabled). 
Alternatively we could upload to experimental earlier. What do you think?
