if we have someone who commits to be the primary maintainer, sure, no
problem.

 What I want to avoid is that pkg-multimedia degrades to a package dump
for packages nobody actually cares for. We have the Debian QA Team for
that, IMO. It boils down the question if we want an active team with
well maintained packages or a 2nd Debian QA Team maintaining a set of
multimedia related but otherwise orphaned packages.
