Bug#536313: audacity: more info: terminal output related to issue

When I run Audacity in the terminal I get the following output:

$ audacity &

When using my USB mic with arecord in the terminal I have to specify the 
option -Dplughw:2,0 instead of -Dhw:2,0 (which is the only one that 
appears in audacity), because the latter doesn't work and complains as 
follows:

$ arecord - f cd -Dhw:2,0 -d 20 test.wav
Recording WAVE 'test.wav' : Signed 16 bit Little Endian, Rate 44100 Hz, 
Stereo
arecord: set_params:923: Channels count non available

This output is closely related to the problem in audacity
