okay, I will discuss this with Diego as soon as I catch him on irc
then. If I can convince him, then I'll remove it from our package.

exactly. That's why my patch goes against debian/get-orig-source.sh, the
script that creates the orig.tar.gz. This way we can do ANY modification
we seem fit to the orig.tar.gz and don't have to care about them later
during packaging.
