I really don't mind some additional helping hands. But more people need
more coordination, and asking people to show up on the mailing list
before they sign up to the team to ensure they can be contacted and
understand how we work and so on does not seem unreasonable to me.

FWIW, I haven't heard from Hans so far at all.
