Well, unfortunately yes. I thought that this was clear, but after
rethinking the discussion, I have to admit that thight might have not
been clear at all.

TBH, I feel that we can give *much* clearer instructions using git than
with instructing how to mess around with debian/control*. Heck, we could
even script that.

Wait a minute...

How do you think about installing a script
/usr/share/doc/ffmpeg/build-unstripped-packages.sh, that use
git-buildpackage + dependencies to build these replacement packages from
git.debian.org?
