I'm trying to solve problem where I couldn't more easily track ffmpeg's git repo 
and build packages from their master branch. So with the above patch you 
provide, we should do something like,

[ -r .svnrevision ] && echo "SVN-r$(cat .svnrevision)" > 
debian-$*/snapshot_version.
