Greetings!

I'm an Ubuntu MOTU and Debian contributor (not DD). Recently, I've
learned of the debian-multimedia team and its high-quality packaging, in
contrast with Marillat's debian-multimedia.org, and was encouraged by
Reinhard Tatler to apply to this team, since much of my contributions
involved multimedia packages.

In the multimedia field, work I'm especially proud of includes:
- - Packaging videotrans and tovid for Ubuntu from scratch.
- - Getting smplayer and smplayer-themes into Debian.
- - Contributing to gtkpod upstream, including a large UI overhaul in
version 0.99.14 and a patch for dynamic discovery of libmp4v2 that
allowed Ubuntu to get rid of source duplication in the form of the
gtkpod-aac package.

If I get approved, I would like to transfer my packages smplayer and
smplayer-themes into git and maintain them within the team rather than
single-handedly.
